COMMUNITY PROTEST & EVENTS
WGC Vintage Festival
The WGC Vintage Festival was lots of fun and it was good to see so many people enjoying the event. Thank you to all those who visited our marquee, donated, entered the raffle and played the vintage games. The human fruit machine was very popular.
The Heritage Trust and KeepTheG would also like the thank the businesses and individuals who kindly donated prizes.
The Mayor - Councillor Barbara Fitzsimon helped with the raffle draw.
We raised over £500 towards the appeal.
The important messages about planned over-development based on inappropriate design, are spreading within our community.
Thank you to all those who attend the Community Protest
Please send us your best photos of the event, as we would like to use these to promote our cause going forward.

The team thought we'd sell a few of these gorgeous, metal/enamel Ebenezer badges at the community protest - but the whole lot got snapped up in record time which was amazing, and the money raised will really help the cause.
For those that missed out - we are going to do another run, and we'll let you know where and how to buy them shortly.
If you do have one already, wear it with pride - we will be keeping an eye out for them wherever we go.
Please share the event details with all your contacts and groups. The more people who know about it, the better the attendance will be, and our concerns will be heard.
